Below is a News Flash on the activities that transpired on July 9,2008 at the Jones Beach venue during John Mayer's Summer Tour. It's a brief summary of all the greening groups and sponsoring organizations that were there, interested in linking up with AKOG,improving our environment and educating the fans about it.The focus of AKOG is John's concept of taking small steps each and everyday to improve our environment and to promote sustainability.Mayer has once more turned to environmental non-profit Reverb to help assist his 2008 concert scene in footprint reduction. Mayer came up with the idea of AKOG (Another Kind Of Green) as the official brand for his tours. Basically, he believes that “that small steps toward environmental sustainability can effect widespread change when multiplied by a great number of participants.”

It was really good to see the program in action and all organizations and fans working together.By the way,the concert was wonderful...
