Mental Health Concerns On Rise in Gulf In Wake of Oil Spill Disaster

Gulf area Mental Health Care providers are becoming increasingly concerned about the growing need for psychiatric treatment and therapy for depression and anxiety related disorders. While BP has provided initial funding for this problem in the past the earlier disbursements have dissipated.

People are in need of counseling and treatment on a large scale.

John Mayer Stays Relevant,Aware of Hard Times at DTE Show

spoke to a packed venue of fans with a rapport and sympatico for which he has become well admired.

He acknowledged struggles average Americans face that are in the news today and was bitingly relevant and aware of the tough times many are facing.

Before performing “War of My Life” which he broke out a harmonica for, the singer-songwriter-guitarist told the packed amphitheatre that the song was dedicated to those who feel like they “might not be able to make it,” but said you eventually “somehow find tools you didn’t know you had before.”(More...)
